It shouldn't be this hard to choose!

I test rode the '13 abs 636 this summer at a track day. Instant lust for the bike, insanely head over heels for her.

Fast forward two months and hubby just told me he's buying me the bike!!! Not only that, I get to keep my 250! I'm dying of excitement and trying to make the rational decision. We can get the white model for $1k less than the green, both so brand spanking new that I get to do the assembly and pdi myself. I feel like I need to have my Kawi green.... such a hard decision.

And seriously, SQUEEE!!!! Insert happy fanatic dance here of insane proportions here.

I vote white. Too bad that both the green and white come with a black tail and side fairing. At least it looks better than the white '14 300 that comes with a black tank.

Wondering what Kawi is thinking with some of their color schemes lately. Why can't a bike be just one color?

Gratz on the confirmed bike - Voted white as well

But it depends if you dig the matte finish on the white vs. the gloss of the green. Still no red 636 yet

Not the best looking green colour scheme but still go for green, it's the best when they combine both colours together like the one seen in my avatar.

I was never a big fan of the green, but after seeing the 2013 636's in person, the green was surprisingly good looking. I thought I would have chosen the white as well, but this year's green scheme > white.

Our 250's match! I love the SE Green and white from 2010. They only seem to do the solid colors since then and it is very saddening.

Black is not an option of the bikes we can get at dealer cost without assembly. White is $9304 before tax (which is all that's being added) and the green is $10340.

Looks like I lied, it's coming already assembled and pdi'd but cutting out the cost for that. I would much rather have gotten the crate and finished it myself though.

$1034 for a 636?!?!?! That's an easy choice!!!!

Unless that was a typo, in which case I'd choose the green one anyway

I'd prefer the green, but at that price I'd take the white, and use the extra $1K for gear and accessories.

Candy Plasma Blue, because it's the fastest color.

Just as an aside...

I was at the Suzuki dealer last weekend getting my brake recall done so I had an hour to hang around and sit on a bunch of different motorcycles.

The only one that really turned my head and made me think "if I didn't have the awesome bike I've got now, I'd really be looking at this" was the 636.

Damn, I really need to work on my reading comprehension. Didn't even notice you mentioned the 1g price difference in your first post. I'm officially changing my vote to WHITE. God knows I'd need the grand for insurance

So I went with white and used the difference to get the akropovic exhaust, tail tidy, Shogun frame sliders, and Kawi green rim tape. Planning is in the works for some custom green vinyl accents so I won't be greenless. Paperwork should clear tomorrow!

Which one did you get? I know they have 3 full systems - one is all titanium headers and tubes, and the other 2 have stainless steel headers and tubes (one with full carbon can and one that is mostly titanium).

I want to get the full exhaust and Powercommander some day. I love the sound of a full exhaust!

Congrats on the new bike! Pics when you get it done and exhaust is on it would be awesome.

Can't go wrong with either, but I'd take a white 636 if it means I save a grand for other things, such as gear.

I should have clarified but I just went with the carbon fiber slip on. I'd love a full system but that will have to wait. We are getting track plastics for two of the other bikes... this is an expensive bike year!

Cool! Nice new bike - you look very happy! Excellent!

I might get that same slip-on as well. The full system with powercommander is a little too much $ for me for a few years. But it's my dream to completely finish it off that way.

I do like the look of the carbon slip-on a lot - a lot. It's so nice looking and better than stock on the 09-12 and the 13 as well, the stock cans are ok. But that carbon can is so much better.
