Hello from The Berkshires!

Hey everyone! My name is Matt and I'm from North Adams, MA. I just picked up my blue 2009 250 on Saturday, the 9th of May. This is my first motorcycle and I am extremely excited about being apart of this club! I've signed up for the MSF course near me, that's in June. I found this forum while searching Google for the Ninja 250R.

Also, I am looking for a decent cover for the bike (right now it just has a tarp over it), any suggestions?

cover

I got a pretty nice one at walmart for around $40.00. I think I had to order it off their web site cause they don't carry it at the store. I have been happy with it and use it everyday that I ride my bike to work. Any way check them out and see what you think. By the way good choice of color.

Welcome!

I have a Dowco Weatherall. A bit pricey, but it was the only one the dealer had at the time, and I needed a cover ASAP because somebody stole my old one

Anyway, it covers the bike perfectly, has a lining inside so it doesn't scratch anything, and also has a heat shield so you can cover the bike when the pipe is still hot without melting the plastic.

Welcome. I picked up a Blue 250 a couple of days ago also. First bike in many years. It was a retirement to myself. Enjoy.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! I was finally able to take it out for a ride last night. It was great! I'm very glad I made this decision! Lockie, congrats on the new bike!
