Akira is not really the kind of anime that I usually watch.

(although if you're thinking of the perennial biker anime, that would be the one)

Bikes in movies

What about The "Dark Knight"? It has the the best performance bike. But if you don't consider this one a true bike, always "Top Gun" I was a navy kid, I got to play at Miramar and got to see the Tom Cats up close. That movie got me to love bikes.

I enjoyed "Hell Ride", a little hollywoodish about the treatment of Motorocycle Clubs but so is Sons of Anarchy.

Raising Arizona's "Lone Biker of the Apocalypse" Leonard Smalls.

Awesome. Especially in the dream when he "rides" over the car, tricycle, fountain, and right up the ladder into the room. Really leaves you thinking "WTF?!" until you realize that it's figurative.

I haven't seen Wall Street Money Never Sleeps yet but I just realized that the original featured Bud Fox doing recon on a motorbike.

I must mention this:

The bike I have always wanted was from Batman Forever. Chris O'Donnel rode the bike and I have loved that bike since. I guess that is why I like Norton and Royal Enfield so much.

That bike was a 1972 Norton Commando.

How about a new one; " War" with Jet Lee. Aside from the fast cars that him and Jason ride, and the many japanese sport bikes that the Yakusa and Triats ride in the movie, the beast is the Conferderate bike he rides. They only build a handful of each. By hand, no cheap parts. Look it up

Little Fauss, Big Halsey with Robert Redford. Surprised it didn't make that atrocious list. Why is that guy leaning off his bike like that? He's at a 35-40 degree angle tops, I see that poser **** everywhere now, street and track.

worst biker movie ever!

This has to be the worst biker movie I have ever wasted 2 hours on. Was on bounce channel. The ending was the most rediculous thing I have ever seen. Two chicks actually fight with their bikes, they do a wheelie and slap tires back and forth. The retardedness is hard to explain or even fathom.

We need with a bit more maturity and less of the hoodlum atmosphere.

Maybe a younger brother who lost his older one to a track day accident. But he's 100% sure that from the footage of that session, someone had pushed him to get ahead but that someone had enough money to get enough people to stay quiet.

5 years down the line, that someone is now partaking in GP racing while the younger brother has been learning to ride a motorcycle and has finally gotten used to taming the infamous liter Fireblade. His goal now is to find his way onto the track to both use the publicity he may gain to expose that someones involvement and to take ensure that the someone never takes first place.

Or something like that. Sounds stupid but I'm pretty sure it's better than the two movies posted.

Sounds like a movie I've watched already but involving cars and drift racing, was a horrible movie I just can't think of the name right now. I will have to look it up in my netflix history.

That's not the movie that involved some sort of car upgrade that allowed him to not use nitrous on his last race which would have exploded his car or something because his rival or whatever rigged it to **** up once he releases the uber awesome gas?
