trippy , and cool. It has some kind of a meaning about life and only having so much time and the need to leave a mark through future generations.

or not lol

Cool stuff, it's clearly an instructional video. "How to make a friend."

Beautiful, thanks for sharing.

At times YouTube comments are respectful of the piece. This is one where reading the comments was interesting. One of the first said (paraphrased) "So they only have a few minutes to live and waste it on making another?"

I do see a parallel to life, not so much to make a mark on future generations but to ensure that there are future generations. Time is short, make the best use of it that you can.

I see it as multiple meanings, but it could also be seen that despite the short time spent with the other creature, it was worth every ounce of time for the Maker.

Finally it loaded... Beautiful animation no matter the message or meaning a person draws. Plenty are to be had!

Finally warm enough to ride, still cold though

Plenty to be had indeed! I love seeing this oldstyle stopmotion stuff, brings me back to my childhood. It's crazy to think something that's only 5min took 6 months. But I rewatched a few times and noticed how much detail went into everything.

Life is crazy sometimes! I like claymation, stop motion, and all sorts (Wallace and grommet anyone?) my real love lies in cartoons tough, I like the realism of puppets, and clay.

Nice video, I love these short animated films.

allow me to add a few of my favorites.

This first one has a sick motorcycle chase.

Link to original page on YouTube.
Second one is a comedic storytelling of a funeral march.

Link to original page on YouTube.
The third one is downright disturbing at points but in an ingenius way and portrays human nature and fear fairly well.

Link to original page on YouTube.
The story of a young girl who loses what is most important to her, her forest, and how she reacts to it.

Link to original page on YouTube.
A young man makes a terrible mistake and is now reliving his horrible memories and paying the price.
