Yet another 2012 >Green< Ninja
After much (or it seemed like it) delay the day is here; I am officially part of Team Green Ninja! Thanks Kawasaki!
This green is deeper than the usual and shines like a carapace; I am on the verge of dubbing it "Zorak." (edit: Of course I did *not* ride it with that light shirt alone! ATGATT, baby). |

I like the green details on your shirt too. It's good to see that there are still fans of The Prisoner out there.

Heh, the shirt is one of those 'wicking' exercise shirts I've had for a while now; I did choose to wear it for the occasion.
Oddly, The Prisoner is why I'm riding now; obviously PMcG didn't drive a Ninja in The Prisoner, but he drove a Lotus (since Caterham, now repurchased by Lotus I believe) 7. Those kit cars were the closest thing a person without gobs of money can come to a supercar; light, fast - a pure driver's car, not an overblown iPod station and entertainment center on wheels. When I started looking at them they were $12k, engine included, in their kit form; used went $9k-$15k assembled. Unfortunately in between my teen/college years and actually having $ to get one, they became very popular as race cars, so they got even more engine and race gear and the price skyrocketed right up to the $30k range for starting up to $61k for the Superlight R500; $36k-68k used and assembled. Granted, that's still less than most vehicles that can pull 0-60 in 2.88 seconds, but it's not in my budget The only refuge for a pure driving experience for normal people now comes on two wheels, so here I am. For $5k (or less) anyone can get a driving experience with no fluff between the rider and machine. (the avatar pic, btw, is an graphics experiment where I took a 'Matrix' green-with-code filter and applied it to the Prisoner opening sequence.) Be seeing you... |

Even though Blue is the fastest color, your Green 250 looks pretty damn shiny.
