That is cool! Wonder how well it would hold up over time though. That type of tape isn't known to hold up well against moisture.

If it was duct tape it would stick up to 200mph, but you can't see through it.
It looks good, but I want to see it after a few months.

I see no reason why it wouldn't. The tape is on the backside of the gauge cluster, so it's very well protected from the elements.

The tape will fall off, but this could be done with paint and an airbrush in a similar manner.
Red is the worse possible color for a display, human eyes don't distinguish red from black well, green has the greatest human eye spectrum.

cool, just had mine apart last night thinking about whether or not putting colored lights behind it would look good.

do you have colored lights behind the indicator lights or are those white?

They are red LEDs in just the backlights not the warning/indicator lights.

Red is the best at night due to the eye doesn't need to adjust that much to see it.
