New proud owner: 2009 Ninja 250R
Hi everybody!
Picked up an '09 250r friday! I have been saving up ever since I took the MSF course last summer. I've used this site a lot for good information and I thank you guys for that. It has been very helpful. I'm located in Corvallis, Oregon going to school at Oregon State University and I'm looking forward to becoming a more educated and experienced rider. Steve |

Welcome! Glad to see you went with the new-gen. I went thru the same process as you (considering a cheaper/older bike) but I just loved the looks of the newer model.
Post some pics of the bike and let us know of mods done or planned!

Yeah, I was almost gonna bite on an 04/05... but the new gens are SUCH good lookers. I don't want to deviate too far from stock, however I was thinking about a fender eliminator, smoked windscreen, and a black seat cowl. On saturday I changed the oil, cleaned and lubed the chain. She has 1170 miles on her, can't wait to go for another ride.
Here she is...currently all stock
