I should introduce myself!

Hey there fellow ninjettes. I've been lurking for about a year but recently decided I think it is about time to start posting and getting involved

Picked up this 2010 almost a year ago to the day. Went straight from MSF to the Apache Motorcycle on 17th and Camelback in Phoenix where they had several brand new 2010's at a sticker price of $3700! The sales manager sold me the bike and he said they have been buying 250s from all over the country and stock piling them because they sell so well here in AZ. It had 1 mile on it and never was started. They prepped it for me and off I went

Back in March I had a small accident. Was up in the mountains on a road I am fairly familiar with and on a very slight bend, I was riding near the double yellows and hit gravel at about 35mph mid turn. My front wheel lost it and I low sided into the dirt/gravel near a slight cliff :P It isn't really a cliff, but a very steep hill that is very rocky (AZ mountains!). I didn't know what to do to correct the bike in that situation so down I went. I had full gear on except only had normal heavy pants and obviously those don't do anything, so my left knee got injured and required 3 stitches and a brace for a two weeks. The bike was back up and running within 6 days, but I wasnt. Three weeks after the accident I was back on the bike, hah.

Below is the left side fairing. Pretty beat! Will make a good wall piece

The other damage was a pin hole in the generator housing, but nothing some metal epoxy couldn't handle. I replaced the front, left, and rear left fairings.

I got a bunch of mods on the way that will be installed next week

Stainless Area P exhaust, jets, BRT TIS, KN pod filter, kleen air removal. Of course there will be pics to come, heh.
