Got a Contour HD helmet cam.

Looks good! That area looks like a lot of fun on a SM. Vids like this are exactly the reason I'd like to grab a cheap dual sport sometime soon!

I dunno, I've never used a GoPro. From what I've read the GoPro shoots better quality video. I chose this camera over the GoPro because of the profile of the camera. The design of the Contour makes it a better helmet cam imo. Here's my setup

Obviously the kit I ordered came with the goggle strap mount. It came with another mount for a street helmet, but I haven't used it yet. The camera is really easy to use, it's got a button on the back for the power and another on the top to record.

There a several different resolution options, but you can only choose between two on the fly. I'm using the 1080p @30 frames/sec for the hi setting and 720p @60 frames/sec as the low setting.

Dunno about battery life, or how much video you can shoot on one 16gb micro SD card.

You got about 2-3 hours of good battery life and about that same amount of vid will fit on the 16gb card.

The main difference between gopro and contour is the durability. Quality is *** for tat for youtube vids.

ProTip* - put a piece of tape over the mic for high speed recording.

Thanks, yeah I thought about putting a piece of tape over the mic hole just forgot to do it.
