I've ducked under one who was taking a dive at my head! A big hawk or buzzard kind of bird. I interrupted his road-kill feast. He was pissed. A friend riding behind me saw the whole thing and said it was mighty close!

Ewww, cleaning bird guts out of the bike for months! It kinda reminds me of that time my mom exploded the cranberry sauce all over the kitchen...

I've taken one pigeon to the shoulder and dodged multiple birds that flew right at my head (pigeons, vultures, cardinals etc), ran over a few indecisive squirrels and frogs and even managed to run over a 5 foot black snake that got kicked up and hit my leg lol. Not to mention the amount of bugs I've killed with my helmet and the dead gopher which sort of splashed as I hit it lol. fun times

Well, the bird hit me, i didn't hit it, the snake was in the middle of the road and looked like a tar repair (i.e. a road snake) and the dead gopher was already dead though it was quite funny when my ex girlfriend who was on the back at the time, was yelling at me for it (she got some of the splash too LOL). and all of the bugs hit me too.......that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
