Aloha from Oahu

Hey people,

Decided to register myself here after ghosting the site for about a month just doing some research and reading different forum sections after a recommendation from a fellow YT'er. No bike yet, but hopefully soon. In the meantime, I plan on taking the MSF course when I have sufficient funds, and do some online shopping for gear as I would love to be in ATGATT. Currently own a Icon Domain helmet (as a gift) and a pair of Icon gloves. I can finally see how this can be addicting with regards to buying gear! Looking forward to interacting with ya'll. In the meantime ride safe everyone!

welcome to the forum. yeah, the gear can get pretty pricey.

good luck with the class and getting a bike. if you can resist the temptation, i would suggest getting a used bike.

Gary - It's hard for me to not resist getting a new bike, only because the deals I see posted up on Craigslist don't stay up for very long. Last posting I saw was on a black 08 or 09 250 priced @ $2180 if I remember correctly. I mean I'd be satisfied with a pre-gen, but would prefer the newer models.

Those are SIKK deals! Trust me, I want to be out there with you folks, just have to concentrate on getting through my last year in college after I pay for my out of pocket costs and other debts first... In the mean time, just reading up on all the different gear I wantto get that I hope I can afford
