Alternator

How much current can I pull from the bike without "using" battery power? I want to install some running lights or some fog lights where my front reflectors are.

That link is for the new-gen, but the old-gen isn't terribly different. Somewhere under a 100 watts continuous is the most one should count on, and rounding down to 70 or 80 adds a bit of safety margin.
