I just magically had an amazing shift that came out of nowhere and brought me up to budget (including buying a new track bike)

I'm officially in 100% and I even got a case of monster for christmas that I'm bringing down with me to share if anyone's interested

This is only very tangentially related, but it looks like Niccolo Canepa recently broke the lap record at Jennings on an EBR 1190X.

He'd better enjoy holding that record while it lasts -- it sounds like he'll have some competition in about a month! Have fun, everyone =).

i had the crazy idea of riding to florida. i speculate that it would only cost about $100 in gas each way which means cheaper than flying. plus i'd get to ride cross country and back.

I aint shooting for main lap record, just the 250 record. Also, I will not be the fastest rider there. So most likely, his record will stand, unless my friend pulls a rabbit out of his hat.

Going with an average gas price of $3.92 last June, it cost me $214 in gas.

Not sure what that would be with the tanking prices these days.
