I am ok with it. Paint took a lot of time. It looks like a dragster only smaller. And ya needs a 190 tire to complete the look.

A good way to measure taste, specifically in engineering is to look at something and ask yourself WWGD.

And it's what would germans do, no germans would do this to a bike, it's very ham 'merkin.

Don't get me wrong, not all stretched swingarms are bad, that bike looks good, tasteful colour scheme, nice theme, chopped back end to compliment the stretch, no nasty stock indicators, well executed, it's like taking a grilled cheese in some nasty american diner and comparing it to a parisian croque monsieur.

I would rape that street fighter so hard... so sexy. Ever since my project i would prefer street fighters over full fairings. FUTURE BIKE: DUCATI MONSTER DIESEL or DUCATI DIAVELwith a belly pan and no mirrors.

Notice the tail on the ducati's? Not pointing up at the sky. I dont understand the need to make a streetfighter tail look like its freaking broken. IMO it completely ruined the entire bike.

I spotted a lot of that kicked in the ass look on the Isle of Man. I don't like it at all. I don't like anything pointing up on a motorcycle. But when it comes to style and fashion. As long as it is safe and well made I have respect for it. I have done some stupid stuff in my life. And at the time it seemed like a good idea.

that is not a "streetfighter" thing. its a small branch called "german style" tails. unlike a streetfighter, a german tail is one of those... "because i can" kind of things. no practical use. just looks completely retarded/impossible. shane liberty even has a 93 yama fzr with a german tail. its very well done if i remember right

Pretty ugly bike IMO, but I still like to see things like that. Different people have different taste and I wouldn't want people to all feel the need to conform to one particular acceptable style.

This is akin to buying a civic, putting it on "twenty-two's", painting flames or racing stripes on it, and slapping on a fart can. Sure, if it makes you happy go for it, but expect to be ridiculed because there is no added "function" and/or it is stupid (aka it actually reduces function).
