Awww!! Thanks for the warm welcome! I feel like I'm part of the group already! I'm taking my class this weekend - in Mesquite - so I'll be able to get my license next week and then its rock-n-roll on the road!
So...ninjagirl! I'll check the schedule for next weekend and hopefully there's something going on! Thx! |

Hi. I'm in the Dallas area too (McKinney).
If you are a new rider, just be very careful on that bike. It is certainly not a beginner bike. |

It's a good beginner for me; anything less would have been traded in for something larger already

hmm..let's see....how can I put this...if vehicles were drugs, my tolerance level would be higher than Ozzy's during the 80's lol I was driving 1200 HP twin-turbo flat 12's by the time I was 21 when I worked as a Ferrari mechanic then I got into tuning cars and racing them. True, a bike is not 4 wheels, but if it's got wheels, I can drive it. I can already tell, in about another month on my bike, I'll already be looking at mods to do. I'm not interested in doing all those goofy stunts on the highway, I've chilled out a lot over the years, but I still like a little acceleration every now and then
Though I would never do this: some guy I worked with at the Ferrari shop had a 1000cc bike and he put a turbo on it - I was so flipped out watching him tear ass down the road in only a t-shirt, shorts and flip-flops! lol - stupid, but fun to watch. You could hear that turbo and it was so sweet! If he wasn't scared, I was scared for him.
