Local shops for front wheel issue

Ok so I wasn't sure where to post this, because this pertains only to the State of Ohio.

Does anyone know how good the Kawasaki dealers/shops are in Dayton, Ohio and surrounding areas. I was looking at Competition Accessories or the Dealer in Kettering. I don't know if there are certain ones that I must stay away from or really must go to. I'm looking at getting some warrantee and regular work done.

Thanks for the help guys.

I know of 2 near Cincinnati I could recommend but not sure if that is to far of a drive for you.

http://www.afjraceshop.com/ Ask for Brandon or Eric they own and run the place. Tell them I will pee in their leathers at Mid-Ohio if they don't hook you up.

http://www.hondaofflorence.com/ 7 miles south of Cincinnati in KY. Ask for Knox, she is the service manager. Tell her I will kill her cat, (yes it's at my house) if she don't help you.

I have a front end vibration, it's not tires or brakes...I know that for sure. So I think the issue lies with the wheel bearings or the axle. I only feel it when I accelerate or decelerate.

Nah man, it's definitely the front, I feel it through the handle bars not through the body of the bike.

describe the feeling in the handlebars.

is it one or two pops when you start accelling or decelling? a rythmic beat that follows the speed of the wheel? a continuous thumping that doesnt follow the speed of the tire directly? a random clanking sound that doesnt seem to relate directly to the speed but gets stronger when going faster?

It's more of a heavy buzzing directly related to the front wheel. I mainly feel it when I decelerate and eventually come to a stop. Once at speed I really don't feel it though.

I know it's not the brakes, the same vibration was still there even after changing brake pads.

Put it up on stands and spin both wheels by hand and listen. Start slow and increase the spin speeds, you should find you sound/vibration. I am with alex right now, sounds like a chain issue. Mine was funny like that on my pregen. Only under load, at lower speeds and felt it in the grips but heard it in the center/front.

if it didn't happen when he gased it i would put the money on a rotor, but if he gets it under gas also i would say chain. like he said it should be pretty obvious on stands spinning the wheels.

Good thoughts guys. Upon visual inspection of the chain, I notice that a few of the links are somewhat stuck in a slight v-shape. It's almost as though they don't flex right until it goes on he sprocket. Not sure if that is an issue, but I'm going to take it to the shop here soon anyways. Whats a good replacement chain to look for?
