the orange one for me as well.
unless you were wearing charcoal suit, then i think the black paisley would go well with it.

You should make sure the Bell RS-1 fits you properly first.. If it doesn't your questions about which one to choose won't matter.
For example, I am a Shoei head/guy and needed to get a replacement. Some Arais fit me right and some dont (can't remember the submodels). The old AGC styles did not fit me rigth whatsoever but the new ones do. The KBCs and HJCs do not fit right on me at all. The Scorpion EXO -700 fits right but the 1000s do not. For Bells, I need a small for a Star but I need a medium for the RS-1. The Nexx's fit me pretty good too. If you have tried the RS-1s and they fit you properly, I would go with the white and gold.

I've tried on the RS-1 and I would describe it as a long oval head shape. If you have more of an intermediate oval shape the Bell Star or Vortex would probably fit you better. Having said that, everyone is different of course.

I all ways give the local shop a chance to get my money over the web store. I uses the local shop to try on gear, and to check the quality first hand, so it's only fare that I give them first crack.

I agree, support local, they may eventually give you discounts, or just ask them up front that you'll buy from them if they do. Try CycleGear if there's one near you. I like being able to try stuff on first & usually get great customer service instead of having to ship a product back & hope they take care it properly.

No one could touch the $249. The best they could do was $300 on a solid color.
