I wanted to say Thank You to Ninjette.org and its Members
I was poking around in google one day and found this forum by accident, started reading the thread that got me here which wasn't too special. I loaded the main categories and then the vortex happened.
After two days of reading thread after thread, topic after topic I had discovered a very kewl motorcycle family. I’ve been riding for a long time and had lost that feeling a little bit with the motorcyclist I’d been riding with (Think I’ve been riding with too many yuppies lately). Something I’ve always loved about owning a motorcycle is that if you’re in trouble on a motorcycle just wait a little while and another motorcyclist will be by shortly with a helping hand. My motorcycles have now had the joy of riding around in about a half dozen strange pickup’s always with no expectations other than seeing you get to a safe place. Lately it’s seemed to me that a lot of riders are more concerned with self-gratification instead understanding the true spirit of the motorcyclist, guess this would be a subjective point of view as to what the “true spirit of the motorcyclist” is. Anyways back to the thank you, before landing on this forum I was at a crossroads in my life, divorce papers had just gone through the system and were final. I literally had no money at that time which was mostly going to bills and my pets to keep them feed. They ate better than I did for a while and in this video were the bike barely moved, I couldn’t afford the gas to go anywhere. The below video shows were I was at, at that point in my life. If you want to pass on the video, its me literally standing at a crossroads with my head down. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsQs-...feature=relmfu What you guys gave me was a place to experience some very kewl motorcycle enthusiasts while being me. Sometimes I can be a little sarcastic or just a bit off the wall, I do like being different but I’m always honest and won’t keep you guessing as to what I’m thinking. But most importantly you showed me a very kewl motorcycle family still existed. It’s very seldom I hang around forums for long, kinda like a din and dash. Hell I’m now at over 100 posts on this forum, I’m not used to that. There was a point where I almost left this forum, I had made a friend and lost a friend and it brought back some ugly memories. I’ve only had private messages with two people on this forum and now one is gone. Sometimes it’s easier to run and ignore than truly face an emotional turmoil. This is where something happened that hasn’t happened in a long time, I ended up stepping back and looking at past events. Last time I did this, I ended up parking my bike for a few years. I’m not parking my bike this time as I’m not as bad as I was at that time, but I’ve now made a couple videos were I haven’t broken a single traffic law, that’s new to me. I’m currently in danger of becoming a good motorcycle rider if I continue to hang out here. @Alex, your just too Kewl @Motofool, you ain’t no fool @lgk, you actually helped me figure out how to get my bernese mountain dog on my R1, coming soon when his ADD calms down a bit. @Monkeytofu, I don’t get your nick at all @csmith12, ya ride an R6, ya gotta be alright … @Jiggles, ummmm, still trying to figure out how to block your wiggling jigglets. PS. The lie is worth it, most females are disappointed afterwards, it’s a duration thing …. lol @JA-Moo, I love your triple @alex.s, I thought you were a good rider until I saw your avatar … @ryan.chin, your avatar has actually made my head bob @EK, my pegs are always down PS. A late night post I’m not so sure I should post, just wanted to say thank you to you all. Pass on Hills and Corners (Live life, don’t let it pass you by)

There are just so many great riders on this forum. It's so great to to see everyone come together in fun, healthy and sometimes spirited threads without it constantly degrading to the funk that we see on so many other forums. In the little bit of time I have been here, I have seen first hand or through pics/posts the transformation of some riders (including myself) as we all never stop learning and continue to surprise ourselves with the things we do. While not all the decisions we make are good ones with life, sometimes you have to "beat it to fit, paint it to match", it's walking away with the experience that make us who we are. In the spirit of biking, no thanks is required. Just glad to be here and help when I can.

I wasn't mentioned but I want to say for the most part I agree. Some of the attitudes here and judgements aren't the best but for the most part most of the people here are good people... In their own weird way LOL Glad you picked yourself up and moved on! Remember when you've hit rock bottom, there is only one way to go.... Up!

Yes, ninjette.org is the best 250 community I've found online. The others I've read and posted on don't really have the community feel that's found here. |

Reminds me of a joke,
"What did the banana say to the vibrator?" "What the **** you shaking for, she's going to eat me when she's done with me." Funniest part, this was told to me by a female.

Most of those who have walked through life, can recognize some pivot point of their lives while reading your story. "If If you can keep your head when all about you Are losing theirs and blaming it on you; If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, But make allowance for their doubting too: If you can wait and not be tired by waiting, Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies, Or being hated don't give way to hating, And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise; If you can dream---and not make dreams your master; If you can think---and not make thoughts your aim, If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same:. If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools, Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken, And stoop and build'em up with worn-out tools; If you can make one heap of all your winnings And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss, And lose, and start again at your beginnings, And never breathe a word about your loss: If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew To serve your turn long after they are gone, And so hold on when there is nothing in you Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!" If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with Kings---nor lose the common touch, If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you, If all men count with you, but none too much: If you can fill the unforgiving minute With sixty seconds' worth of distance run, Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it, And---which is more---you'll be a Man, my son!" We are a dysfunctional family. You can't help but love it here. Heck, I don't even own a motorcycle anymore, but this is like home to me. I may pick on a person or two here and there, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.
This is my main forum...the one I come to time and time again. Just a great group here.

I can honestly say that when I first joined here and read/posted I would mention some of the things people here have said or suggested things to make me a better rider, my husband would comment that the forum was not like this one and he wished that it was. His forum has a lot of bickering with all the he said, she said stuff.
R1Chronicles you have helped me out a few times giving great advice just like all the other riders here AND I love my little Hard A** gif you made for me, I just need to figure out what size I want and where to put it -- do I want people to see it from the front of my bike or when I am leaving they can see if from the back |

it is sad though because vibrator and blowjob jokes always come to mind when i eat phallic stuff...kinda ruins it for me. even if i am alone i say...if anyone else was here they say how good of a job i was doing on that banana.
