He should've... not ridden that day?

Link to original page on YouTube.

This is one of the few crash videos I've seen where the rider wasn't doing something stupid or at least sub-optimal which allowed for the crash to take place.

By my rough squirrelestimate I'd say crashes like this are 1 in a thousand; or even less likely than that.

I guess this video is a good opportunity to point out the value of wearing full gear. If you make a mistake or you're unfortunate enough to be attacked by a lone, wheel with evil intent, then your gear is your plan B. I'd say without gear he potentially would have had his left foot/ankle mashed & broken and would have road rash all up the left side of his body. It looks like his head hit the ground hard too, so he could have been knocked out, given concussion or killed.

I've never seen a tire shoot off like that before

He should have been paying more attention so he could have wheelied out of harms way

^ actually, now that you've said that I've realized that had he been practising his bunny hop technique, he would've be fine.

Like I've always said: if you can't hop your motorcycle a metre over the ground in a pinch, you're not taking street riding seriously.

Wow! What terrible luck! The tire come off of a car, rolls up the street and deflects off of another car and hits this poor guy ---just riding along doing nothing wrong--dead center and knocks him down! I guess this ranks along side getting hit by lightening as random accidents go!

My full first name is Nick. My parents are from Belarus but I'm from Utica, NY

Edit: Wait a second, how do you know my last name? Are you another person that I added on FB but forgot about?

Just a mixture of my last and first name I'm not creative enough to come up with a nick name.

Every single male Serbian basketball player in the Olympics has a last name that ended with ic except for one player and the coach. I knew that was common but not that common!
