Getting adhesives off your finish safely

I tried velcro'ing a small digital camcorder onto the side of my Ninja to get some cool slalom vid. Didn't work. Only go-pro cams are made for that. Peeled off the Velcro and have had a 2"x3" blob of glue there ever since. Goo gone - nope. Goof-off - nope. Finally soaked it in WD-40, heated it up with a hair dryer, and gently scooped it all off with a credit card. Took it all right off without any residue or damage.

Just thought I'd pass that along..

This is the camera I ended up with instead Its about the size of a bic lighter. I stuck it between the handlebars...

It detaches from the base. I found mine new unopened at Goodwill for $9. Sure beats $350 for a go-pro.

Heres an example of the quality of this $9 camera. Too bad it was a dark gloomy day cuz the vid quality is way better than this shows.

Normally I'm a lighter fluid guy but if Goo Gone didn't work, I dunno, man haha.

That's a solid camera setup. For $9 that's an absolute steal! I like it

I'm more interested in the camera.... Video only in one direction and still shot for the 360? I'd so be taking WAY too many 360 degree shots with that thing.

I'd go isopropyl alcohol, followed by water (after the goo's gone).

Have any of you tried a clean rag and baby oil?
