What little monsters do you have under your bed?
Anybody else got any pets? What are they? How old are they? How long have you had them? Any funny stories and/or pictures?
My family has two dogs, a cocker spaniel named Meg (the family pet, more or less) and a german shepherd/siberian husky cross named Blue (my dog). Meg is about 11 years old and really hates to have to deal with Blue. If Blue comes within 5 feet of Meg, Meg starts growling! Blue is 5 months and 5 days old. I bought her with my own money, and paid for all her stuff (crate, food, toys, etc.). She's mine more than Meg (who's never really liked me to begin with). She does have this annoying habit of jumping up against my bike with muddy paws (which leaves muddy streaks and some small scratches). Oh well! Here's a pic or two of Blue: Katie's 005.jpg Katie's 012.jpg Katie's 018.jpg Ok, fine. That's 3 pics! These were taken about 3 months ago, when I first got her. She's about 5 times bigger than this now. I await the knowledge of your furry/feathery/scaly/skin covered friends! |

We've got a varied selection of a cat, a dog, and a kid, in that order (at least agewise). All of 'em are in this shot: Our cat Newton is a Rag Doll, and our pup Valentino is half golden retriever / half black lab. Kyle is half me, half Annie.

I just got 2 a week ago! My 2 jumped to 7 once the cat gave birth. I have a puppy named Indy (after Indiana Jones or Indy 500). The cat is named Willow. The kittens we are giving away all but the little black and white one which we've named "Oreo". I have found a place for 2 kittens already (they are ready to go around the 8 week mark) so I have 2 kittens who don't have a home. Right now they are a week old and are just starting to open their eyes. Anyone want one?

That is a beautiful dog! I love Chows (they remind me of big pomarians) and they are uber protective... I got attacked by my Aunt's once but that was because he didn't like anyone, not even my aunt... But they are still great dogs if you have their loyalty

This dog breaks the stereotypes of Chows. He is not agressive or mean and very affectionate toward all people. He is kinda standoffish with new people until he gets to know them. He has turned out to be a great dog.

Our shop dog, Mac (as in Mac Tools). He goes through tennis balls like no dog I have ever seen. You can throw anything out into the field, and he will bring it back. A rock? He'll bring the exact same rock back. He will crawl under cars, over boxes, through people, whatever it takes to get his tennis ball.
He's a German Shepherd. Someone left him in a box when he was a puppy. He was about 5 weeks old and starving. He's not anymore... |

GOOAAAAT!
UPDATE!!! A couple new pics of Blue (She's gotten HUGE! ) and a few pics of our brand new 6-week-old puppy, Sora: Blue and her HUGENESS! DSCF0124.jpgDSCF0125.jpgDSCF0126.jpgDSCF0127.jpg DSCF0129.jpg Sora is so TINY! DSCF0117.jpgDSCF0118.jpg So, Kim, is green still the fastest color? (Sorry for the slightly awkward pics guys. Don't have any others that are good for size comparisons. And I must say, they're kinda funny..... ) DSCF0119.jpgDSCF0120.jpgDSCF0121.jpgDSCF0122.jpg Yes, we got another puppy after only having Blue for a few months. Blue's getting bored in the back yard and I don't have enough time to walk her! Sora = playmate. And, we're just downright insane like that!

I'm down to 2 fish, a ferret, and 3 kids. At one time I had 8 fish, 6 ferrets, 2 dogs, 2 kids, and a cat. We had quite the menagerie. The kids want another animal but the adults aren't ready yet. The last dogs were from the pound and grew up together. The were about 12 when they passed. They passed within 3 months of each other.

Why yes I do.
This is Angel. Was given away because owner became pregnant Brigette. I got her after she attacked her owner. She is a picker. This is Amber. I don't remember why I got him. He wanders the house. Charlie. Owner did't have enough time for him. Hairy was a classroom pet that the teacher could no longer keep. Twiggy was not being taken care of properly and almost died. Ollie, on the left, was dropped off at a pet store. Tequila I bought 35 years ago when she was a chick. Butch was left in an abandoned house. The realtor brought him to me. Clarissa just walked in and stayed. Ouch fell out of a tree when she was a kitten and the vet who fixed her leg made me keep her. left to right, Calyx had bad ringworm owner didn't want to deal with it, Jess was a present from Clarissa. Saki, found behind a Japanese restaurant. Rory the other present from Clarissa And finally D.O.G. found on a corner. Cricket, my youngest daughter bought I used to work at a pet shop and a vet clinic so sometimes people give me pets they find or just can't keep any longer.
