Exclamation It is that time of the year again

A few years ago I posted a thread about the fire hazard dry leaves can be in the fall.

It seems that on the New-Gen Ninjas, leaves can get into the space between the exhaust and the lower fairing and ignite. A quck look at that space periodically can save you a lot of grief.

I found this out when I discovered that my Ninja smelled funny--turns out that some leaves were smoldering in that space. I caught it before any damage was done.

Good advice Alex . I went riding yesterday and there was a crosswind blowing some leaves around. Did my tire pressure checks today and used the compressor to blow the area inside the fairings just to be sure.

Yeah leaves suck! Last fall I went down because I apparently didn't get the memo. Haha.

Wet pine needs are slick too but smell better when warmed up inside your fairings.

Setting the woods on fire with the exhaust of my YZ400F was always one of my favorite activities! **** glows bright red hot when it gets darker out.
