Anyone know of some good textile pants with knee/shin protection?

Just stating the obvious here... but why would you not wear leather when draggin' knee? I have never seen textile pants with a puck.

I have these. They have CE rated knee pads.

He means the pads that go on the exterior of the pants typically used on race suits or more aggressive leather pants for the track so when you lean and drag your knee on the ground it eats at the puck instead of your skin.

As the others have said though, if you're getting that close to the ground you better be wearing leather on those legs just in case...

He clarified what he meant.

If your intention is to get a knee down, FFS, wear leather

I replaced my damaged Icon ARC overpants with Icon Branson overpants. Icon overpants are on the baggy side and usually have a very long inseam. Waist wise, it's a perfect fit. with velcro waist adjustments. With textile overpants, I recommend you ditch the crappy knee shin guards and wear your own knee/shin guards. How the knee shin pads are attached to the pants, they will not stay in place when you take a spill nor provide you with any sufficent protection. Also, make sure you wear something under the textile pants, otherwise when you go down, the textile will melt to your skin. Ask me how I know.
