Hello from Boston
Hi everyone! I joined the ninjette site to read up on the 250. I bought an '06 Yamaha FZ6 last summer after my MSF course. I've had a lot of trouble with slow speed/stop sign 'tip-overs'; some of it I feel like is because I can't flat foot it as well as maybe I brake too hard. I bought a fancy Corbin seat that was supposed to lower me by 2", but it must be wider than the stock seat because it makes only a small difference. So I'm considering moving to a smaller bike such as the Ninja 250 so that I feel comfortable on my bike! I am hoping to find some good info here on other peoples' experience with it.

I hope you are seriously considering to start with a 250. Many ppl think that you should start with a 600 but in my opinion almost everyone should start with the 250 or 500 and learn the basics of how a bike handles plus its so much fun to ride. Best of luck.

Thanks everyone for the welcome! If anyone is in Boston, I would always be up for a ride. I moved here only a few months ago so I don't have any motorcycle friends yet. It's time to go sit on some of those Ninjas!
