Who here actually works....
I know that it is difficult for me to get the time to break away and do work during the day. So I just sit here and study and or read through the old posts.
So Ninjetters, who's job interferes with their Ninjette time? What do you do? I'm a nurse, behavioral health case manager, so at this point in my career if I don't have a case on my desk I just practice holding down the floor with my chair and field the occasional phone call.... |

It might be more telling for people to speak up who *don't* waste time at work on the site.

Machine maintenance mechanic at the moment. When I don't have projects going on, I pretty much just monitor the radio. So I do a lot of reading (books) and check the interwebs once in a while.

Between this board and my other bike specific boards I don't know how I do anything. I do occasionally squeeze in some homework, like a 5 page paper here and there, but I am going to begin taking longer lunches so I can ride the canyon to help break up the monotony.

Should this thread be combined with What Do You All Do to Support Your Habit?
They're both covering the same subject.

Eh, I work in a call center, and I can take upwards of 30 calls a day, with zero time in between calls. I have zero free time at work, and I hate my job. I'm looking for a different job.
So..... I don't browse the forums at work, at least until I put in my two week notice lol.

wow i envy all of you who just sit around at work at watch movies/read internet forums. I am not disrespecting any of you, but I bet you get paid more to "hold the floor down with your chair" than anyone at my work does busting their ass for 8 hours a day.

Also I don't have a specific "break time" I don't have an hour lunch time and those 15 mins breaks that normal people with jobs have, all I do is work and work and work, and when the clock hits 5, I sit down for a couple of minutes and grab something to eat then work again till close we close, I'm the 1st one in the restaurant and I'm the last one to get out. (sorry for venting here (: ) |

Rad Tech. I work at a doc in a box and we are busy as heck. I do three 12s. I don't surf this forum at work, but with four days off a week I get to read most of the posts I find interesting. With the weather finally starting to get better I plan to ride more surf here less. Today was an awesome day I paddled 12 miles Of class III-IV white water and then rode about 60 miles of twisty sweepy roads. I love WV in the Summer

I own a Mold Remediation company. I own the company so I get to check the web when I want. The employees, however, better not find them goofing off online while I'm paying them. Lunch is fine...working time they better be killin' fungi. It's good to be the boss!
