GSXR 600 but keeping the ninjette

Well....I bought a 2013 GSXR 600....thing rides like its on rails.....but keeping the ninjette for now. I'm thinking about turning it into a dedicated track bike. My fiancee just got her license so she is riding it for now

Good for you! I wish I could have kept mine. But LOVING the GSXR….

Unlike the Ninjette, I'm not drawn by mods. The bike is great, stock. All I've done to it aside from the normal fender eliminator is add minor convenience items… USB charger, bought a garage door remote for the bike… stuff like that.

BTW, look inside your tail. You'll find a curved "wall" of plastic that keeps the tool kit from sliding down. It's useless and has no real function… I cut mine out and now have a nice big storage compartment.

This the same guy who created the topic "Scared to pin it" in reference to the ninja250?

Congrats on the new bike looks sexy, wish I could get a new bike, but then again I can barely keep up with the maintenance on the toys I already have sooo maybe not actually.

stick around and let us know what you think of the new ride

Yup this is the same guy, that thread was in april at the beginning of the riding season. I have since taken total control riding school with Lee Parks in June, and 3 days at 2 different track schools. I have also done 2 other track days on the ninjette.

I feel alot more confident about my skills now, although I will admit that there is still lots to learn

Never stop learning because there are things a 250 CAN'T teach you. Enjoy the bike and POWAHH! Safely and responsibly of course. I hope the ninja works out well for the wife as well.

You know that a 600 is still a girl's bike, however; it's a big girls bike. You know you have joined the ranks of squidleys. You know now you are a real motorcyclist (even if it is a girl's bike). You know if you take the 600 on the track you will actually feel like a real racer. You know almost everyone on this forum is jealous of you (almost everyone).

So what will you be doing with your gear now, since you won't be needing it any more?
