Fuel not reaching carburetor.

Recently bought a new carb and cleaned it to the best of my ability, put it in the bike and the carburetor isn't receiving gas when I attempt to start it up. Any advice on what to do? (Pet-cock is set to on position and is above the carburetor so gravity can do its thing.)

petcock is vacuum type or gravity fed type? You've confirmed flow from the petcock? How? Remove hose from carb....use a cup to catch flow... provided it exists.

If flow exists, your float valves/fuel level settings may need testing.

As carbs are "new", I'll assume you've checked them?

I have indeed checked the carb and cleaned them profusely. The petcock is a vacuum type, I checked for flow and I am not seeing any., After attempting to start it a few more times I pulled the gas hose off and saw 3 drops come out of it. Any possible solutions?

you should have a hose from the LH carb brass "vac fitting" running to the petcock small vac fitting. Is it present?

Otherwise I'd surmise your petcock is clogged up. It DOES happen.

There is a small fuel filter where the hose enters the carb. Sometimes it gets very clogged, and is jammed up the hose so you don't immediately see it. Even if this isn't the problem it's something to check.

I checked my petcock for debris and it was sparkling clean, I then attached the gas hose (that connects to the carb) to a plastic bottle with gas inside and it fired right up but died with throttle and when the choke was turned off. The pet-cock is clean but there could be something maybe obstructing the fuel from coming out. Will keep you guys updated so if someone else has an issue like this there will be a multiple solutions.

If you suck on the petcock's vacuum hose, does fuel then flow? It doesn't take much vacuum for it to open if it's working properly.

Found the issue, I basically didn't have enough gas in my tank. The petcock was fine and so was the carb, I just had to turned the setting to the "Res" so that the rest of the gas would flow into the carbs. Thank you to everyone who helped me out. Hopes this helps someone who might be having a similar issue.

Glad you found the problem! (now remember to turn the petcock back to regular, so you don't get a nasty surprise by trying to turn it to res and it's already there)
