Quickshifter?

For my other bikes I was able to get quickshifter easily,

I was wondering anyone know what is a good quickshifter for the 250?

Any quickshifter out there than can do both up and down shifting for the 250?

For my street bike I have up and down shifting and it's awesome

Also anyone have motionpro quick turn?

Can't help you about the QS but I have the 06+ R6 throttle tube installed on my 300. It wasn't a massive difference (when I 1st installed it, I was like "well this was a colossal waste of money") but there definitely is a difference as I didn't once have to place my hand in an awkward position to pin the throttle out of a corner.

The installation was not as straight forward as I had hoped. You need to trim quite a bit off the throttle cable housing so that the throttle doesn't stick when it's open. Nothing too serious.

sure helps the clunky old Ninja's box.

I wanted less twist than what you get with r6 tube, other than $$$ Revolver setup haven't seen anything that works. You can try to superglue a ziptie on the cam, just make sure it doesn't prevent normal throttle operation.

I run the Motion Pro revolver on my 250. I tried all the tricks in the book, zip tie, R6 throttle, even a quick turn throttle from G2. Everything sucked compared to the MP Revolver kit.

Translogic might do what your looking for in a quickshifter. Looks like one of their QS's have a blip version for downshifts.

Sorry for the newbie question, but what do you mean by race shift? and how does it help making the box less clunky?

Yeah race shift is reversing the gear linkage.
I wouldn't call it GP shift, some GP riders run road shift pattern anyway.

The Ninja is very clunky compared to most bikes and it helps upshifts especially when hanging off the bike either side, its more natural feeling.
I ran 1.5 secs faster soon as I did it, now I could never go back.

Looks like "made in China" Sato copy from eBay. Have the same setup

I'm using regular shift, and all this talk is making me consider switching. At very least I will make room for the elbow and see how it goes.

Al I know its a copy of KANEG which are an Australian retailer.

I used a Kaneg longer shift rod (220mm) as I set my pegs very high and further back than any rearset ive seen.
Good thing is all the spares from Kaneg fit.

Took a lot of setting up but have also narrowed the spacers on the fixed pegs and added very narrow 85mm wide pegs,
Also fitted good bearings as well.
Put the countershaft sprocket cover on the side of a cutoff saw to dress about 3mm off that as well, came out very neat.
the fairings scrape before the pegs do.

Getting back to the original topic. Bazzaz stuff is top notch in general, but I'm not immediately clear on what would be the best option for carbureted Ninja 250. Fuel controller would not work, since there is no EFI for it to drive, but I still want ignition map options + QS.
