07 EX250 Flame Removal

Ok so I've removed flame stickers from the Ninja but how to remove the sticky residue left behind is a mystery. Anybody got any suggestions to get rud of it besides turps?

Also has anybody else figured out how to remove the sunburnt flame shadows left behind? Would a good cut and polish get rid of the shadowing?

All suggestions greatfully accepted.

This guy uses wd40. Seems to work well

Link to original page on YouTube.

The fade shadows you are probably stuck with but over time exposed to sunlight they will fade down somewhat . It is not a surface phenomenon, its down in the color layer that was protected from UV by the stickers so you can't polish it out in my experience
