Haven't been on here in a long while, past year of paramedic school took most of out time, plus my 250r was stolen this past October, we got our 300 in November and haven't had good weather to do much riding, we currently live in Dublin Ga. And my wife and I are from Blue Ridge originally, and hope to move back to North Ga within the year. Would love to get together and ride when we get back up , also want to start making ninja friends as we currently don't know any.

Greetings Kevin & Kellie! Our weather up here has stunk as well and we haven't ridden as a group in a while BUT we have a pretty good group going up here. Most of us are out to have a fun and SAFE ride through these beautiful North GA roads and with that common goal we have a blast!! Keep us updated when you are back up this way and keep an eye on this thread because this is where we announce rides and meets and such. Take care and hope to ride with you / meet you soon.

Sounds great , we miss riding up there so much, our children live in Ellijay and Canton, my parents live in Epworth and wife's father lives in Jasper, we also miss the kind of people up there, no one ever tried to steal our ride, unlike down here . We put a alarm on our 300 ASAP after getting it. As soon as I can find a good paying EMT job back up there we're out here.

Hi guys!

I took the MSF BRC 5 years ago, and only just got my bike to the point where it's actually rideable, so I could use a skills refresher. I'm going to be taking the MSF Basic Bike Bonding course (ugh, who names these things?) next Saturday (Feb 15). The course is held at a big Honda-affiliated training site up in Alpharetta, and is $120 for around 6.5 - 7 hours of seat time. There's no classroom portion, and you can either bring your bike or use one of theirs, so this seems like a great option for new or returning riders to get a bit more practice before the season really picks up.

It looks like there are still spots open if anyone else could use a bit more practice before the weather gets back to normal. Maybe I'll see you there!

Anyone know if there is a lot of gravel in the mountains near Dahlonega? High of 60 and 0% chance of rain tomorrow. Who is up for a ride?

When my wife and I used to live in Blue Ridge and ride over that way, the roads were great, lots of twisties, we go from Blue Ridge to Ellijay, take hwy 52 east to the split and take a right toward amicalola falls, then dahlonega then North going to blood mountain and into blairsville and back to blue Ridge.

Hey all! A few of us from Ninjette just got back from an awesome weekend at Jennings! We're trying to put a group together to meet at Barber this spring. Anyone want to go on a ride Sunday afternoon? Monday was supposed to be a holiday but they took it from us due to the snow. Dammit. Monday would be perfect to ride.

Sorry guys, I think my ride is going to be too short today for you all to travel far east. If I had known early yesterday there was interest in a ride, I wouldn't have procrastinated some things I need to do for today. I'm going to ride from around noon until 2 or 3 probably, but I'll stick to some rural roads east of Athens.

I'm heading out from my house by 12 at the latest. Have to be back by 3:30. Probably heading east to either Watson Mill Bridge or (if time) Lake Russell... if anyone's in Athens, we could meet somewhere off of Barnett Shoals for lunch around 11:30 and ride from there??
