alex (period) s why you always busting my chops?

I'm looking for pants....I don't like leathers or textile.....I need some jeans (cuz my junk likes to flow) with some pucks on them. I am this close to duct taping some knee pads to my jeans!

I would be so down for doing some GMR runs, looks beautiful. There is this issue about distance to overcome. Where is it? I don't mind me some travel. I need a vacation anyway. I am crazy enough to take a trip just to ride it.

Haha, liked the end.
Looks good much improvement!
I think you can get your head out there more! Try setting your chin near the end of the handle bar and see how weird that feels.

I saw a couple passes near the beginning of video two where the mirror is blocking your vision.
This is a good thing. Go a bit lower. Also try and turn your head more. It's like a flatland bike.. they want you to turn into your circles. In flatland, it doesn't work unless your head and neck are totally looking into the circle. The bike has to follow YOU.

The tricky part for me is making it feel even on both sides.
I can do it, but it feels weirder on one side over the other.
My theory there is, if I'm set up right, it won't matter if it feels weird because it works right.

Try those fig eights too! Good practice for those super steep low speed Mt. Baldy turns near the top.

When you do start riding with leathers, you're in for a whole new world of a difference also.
It's not quite as easy to flex around in the suit weather it's loose fitting Italian or not.

To be honest, when I'm not in the suit I can bend much farther and blow my knee out much quicker. Kinda sucks! I prefer to have the pants on. It adds support! Perhaps my long legs have weak knees? Whatever the case I don't bend them as far in leather and they don't hurt as bad afterward. Just riding around town, not even playing around.

Thanks for the "heads" up on my head position...I was thinking the same thing, but then I said at least I am consistent with where my head is.

Guess I won't make a new thread of it.
I need to adjust the mount.
the video seemed to work better with the iphone 3.
I need to move my clip ons and brake perches around a bit to get my camera mic back behind the screen right and I need to add some more vibration dampening.

Still, got some fun crappy footage going up GMR some time in the not so distant past.

That's what I just said dude! lol
I have to move the mount. It used to be on the left side with my mic behind the windshield, remember? My vids used to be good, just have to adjust the new rig.

Will be good soon. Yesterday the videos were upside down. This is already a great improvement.
Had to go through this last time too lol.

Awesome vid.....I keep forgetting how slow we went down GMR- it looks so fluid.

I wish the vid you made didn't have so much flashing going on....I hope you learned something yesterday....had a good time except when we saw that CHP!!!!

We will hit it again and have fun while riding public roads....because they're public roads that need to be ridden on ....safely of course while having fun and respecting others around us as they are there to have fun as well--we must remember that.
