2010 Ninja 250EX

If i ride 50mph or up, the speedometer needle jumps all over the place. Sometimes it went all the way to 15, then back to 0, then up to 15 and the needle shaking like crazy. Can anyone help? Thanks

perhaps you have discovered warp speed? Do you have tracts of lost time? Feelings of how did I get here?

Optimistic view - Start by ensuring your speedo cable is well lubricated and well connected at both ends.

Tachs get jumpy when they do not have resistors. Like the trailtech vapor ones they do weird things unless they have the right resistance in the system. Is the battery old?
