Hi from Ft Lauderdale

I was told of this site by a guy that I was talking to before the Toy Run In The Sun here in Ft Lauderdale. Thought I would join and maybe meet a few other riders to hang out with/ride with from time to time.

Thanks...Under your name you state that 'winter suxs' and I totally agree with you. Even down here its cool, nothing like it is up north where you are but still to cool to ride at night for me. Would really hate living somewhere up north and only be able to enjoy riding a few months out of the year. At least I can ride almost anytime here during the day, but thats the reason I moved here....the weather...and NO SNOW...lol.

haha yes, I don't like the winter here just because I can't ride. Although, I do enjoy the snow. I will ride into the 40's. Anything lower than that gets a little to cold!

with the right clothing you can ride almost anytime here. Only a few times a year that it gets in the 30's. But working 3rd shift (10pm till 7am) most of my riding time is late night and early morning, the coolest times of the day. But I put on the leather and ride to work most of the time.

Yeah, I was thinking about getting winter gear, but I am to cheap to do it. What is the low their? Right now its 27. Not too bad.

The low here is in the 50s right now so not to bad. A lot better than 27. Only winter gear I have is leather riding jacket and pants I can put on over jeans. If its colder than that I just take the car. Lol

You should check Craigs list for winter riding gear.

I wish it was still in the 50's here. Yeah, checking Craigs List isn't a bad idea. I may just do that!
