Old Owner, New(ish) to the forum

Hey all,

My name's J. Dean and I own a red 2010 250r here on a pacific island called Guam, which is also a U.S. territory. I've visited this forum a couple of times as a guest and never really made an account until now. I purchased her around summer of 2012 with only 500(ish) miles on the odometer. She's been my daily since up until I moved to Iowa to finish my degree. I came back January and put around 6k miles up until recently. Unfortunately while I was out with friends dancing, someone lifted my keys off of me and they happened to be the only keys the previous owner gave to me. Now I'm waiting on a locksmith to confirm that he can make keys for it. I did not bring the bike with me that night, so it still sits at home in the locked position. I know I'm going to have to remove the ignition to take it to the locksmith, so if anyone has any experience with this, help/suggestions are more than welcome! Anyways, I've had fun modding and working on this bike. A list of my mods include:

Zero Gravity Windshield
Photon Turn Signals

K&N Air filter
Yoshimura Slip-on
JT Sprockets 15T (Front)
JT Sprockets 42T (Rear)
520 Gold O-Ring
EBC Organic Brake Pads

Yoshimura Rearset Brackets
Yoshimura Fender Eliminator
Motodynamic LED Tail lights
Rear Seat Cowl
Pro-bolt Gold Fasteners

I have spilled twice on this bike, on both left and right rides. The first spill was my leaning into an intersection and coming into contact with bumpy road, causing my bike to lose traction and leading to a slide. The second spill was me getting cut off by a driver completing a u-turn and driving me into the center island causing me to land on the opposing side of the rode with my bike sliding along the island.

Hoping to hear soon from the locksmith, cause the cager life isn't really for me and the sunny weather is really making me want to ride. Attached was her bones stock condition circa 2012.

You can use the keycode on the bike to order new keys directly; you don't necessarily need a locksmith. More info in these threads:
