New red bike - love it
Hey everybody.
 Thought I'd say hello to everyone on the forum. Hope this is as fun and friendly a place as the FZ6 forum is. It seems like a great bunch of people from the couple of threads I've read. This is actually my third bike. First bike - Yamaha FZ6, totaled going through an intersection. Second bike - Kawasaki ZX-6RR, traded in for the 250R, maintenance and insurance was too much for me to handle. Love the brand new Ninja 250R I bought. Picked it up about a week ago. It's red and I am really enjoying it. And I'm not apprehensive throwing it through a turn hard, like I was with the 2 600s I had. The 2 things I learned from motorcycling is - - Older used bikes with high mileage can be money pits. Ask me about my traded in ZX-6RR... - Horsepower isn't everything. Well, that's pretty much it for me about motorcycling. Am going to have fun being a part of this forum!

My red bike is also a 2009. Such a nice color, though the special edition really grabbed me. Unfortunately the se one was a lot more since it was a 2010, so no team green this time around. |

C-Dog, I TOTALLY agree with red being more visible. I was just telling my friend that that other day. Black... um, not so much. What can we say .... Red IS the best ! I just got back from a nice little ride tonite. I love my Ninja !
