I have not synced them. I have the tool but I left the settings as they were. Since it just started idling bad out of nowhere. It’s strange I followed all the write ups following dynojets instructions too. I tested the coil packs too. Odd because it idles fine now but as I said when you take off it feels like you hit a wall sounds like a tractor and then it starts building power high rpm’s it loves sounds normal. I can try syncing them but wouldn’t the idle be bad too as well as high rpm?

suggest a return to the better clip/needle setting experienced prior. A synch couldn't hurt, just to verify cylinders drawing equally, no?

thus raising the needle, thus adding fuel

Congrats! Using one washer (thus "shimming" the needle) would offer the next step in further tuning, but if you are now happy, let it go.

Would playing with the idle air screws contribute?

I’ve never tuned a bike so I’m curious raising the needle pulls it out of the pool aren’t the pilots for fine tuning then then? Won’t make big noticeable differences.

adjusting the needles vs pilot screws effect different areas of throttle positions

needles = midrange approx 1/4 to 3/4
pilots = idle to approx 1/8-1/4 throttle
main jet approx 3/4 to wide open
