Ear Protection

So i'm curious as to how many people wear ear plugs or some form of ear protection when they ride?

ear plugs

I wear my ear plugs most of the time for any type of travel more than 20 minutes like to grocery store and back probably won't put them on.

I've found that having a helmet that fits properly also cuts down tremendously on noise. I have a Nolan Flip (I wear glasses) and love that helmet but recently (last year) purchased and had custom fitted Arai Vector 2 from the Service Pavilion, Robert Miller. Awesome guy can be found at most major races. This helmet is super quiet to the point that for hour rides I seldom wear ear plugs.

I have the custom molded ear plugs like $50 and also have the soft foamies. I like to switch every 200 miles when doing long distance runs.
Nothing can hurt you more than hour after hour at 70 mph hearing the wind noise without ear plugs. Wardie

I didn't for the first 3-4 years that I rode, but I noticed I started having trouble hearing people when I'm around other noise, so I've worn them the past couple of years. I'd recommend it, even though I hated them at first (and admittedly, sometimes I still do). Hearing can't be replaced once you lose it.
