Video does not do it Justice, you must go!
Here is the Cherohala Skyway... almost as enjoyable, because i had the road to myself for literately 3 hours in the middle of the day. Counted 3 cars total in 2 hours. |

The Cherohala Skyway leads nowhere, really. You're on it for the view and you're committed to be on it 40+ miles, so folks don't ride the road for practical purposes (ie: except during leaf-looking times, the road is always empty!) Another side benefit is there aren't cops patrolling it.
