Since when does a 250 have a bank angle sensor? 300's have them?

Since I have a european fuel injected model with all the extra gubbins and doodads, comes with a vehicle down sensor as standard.

I wouldn't know if a 300 us spec one has them, i doubt, they removed the o2 sensir to reduce cost, so i imagine they removed the drop sensor.

I use the kill-switch. This allows me to keep a finger on the brake lever whilst I kill the engine. On a ninjette, not so important. On a larger bike, it's a little more important.

Shutting off is always killswitch, sidestand, lean, key, dismount.

Part of the reasoning I heard for kill switch vs key is that on some bikes the ignition is under your thigh. If you're in the habit of using the key then your chance of dropping is higher as you hunt beneath your leg to find the key, or lean over to look down. That, and not having to move your hands off the controls to use the kill switch

I switched from the engine kill switch method to turning the key.
I have left my key in the ignition at rest stops for a good period of time and if I had still been flicking the engine kill switch I would have been screwed haha.

Clutch in, turn key, release clutch and hold brake, kickstand down.

Don't leave it in neutral, that's what I did for a while and eventually, down went my new bike! Only a matter of time!

Neutral, kickstand, key.

If I'm parking away from work/home or on an uneven surface, I keep it in 1st.
