New Rider in Los Angeles

Hello everyone!

I am a new rider (6 months experience), and I own a 2004 Ninja 250. I live in Los Angeles, so it's a little tough to commute with all the traffic. But I'm a Web producer for several motorcycle Web sites, so I get a lot of much needed advice from my coworkers.

I hope to be a regular contributor to these forums, and hopefully meet some cool people too!

I update the sites with press releases, content from the magazines, etc. Also, I moderate the forums there. I write blogs too, and just recently Motorcyclist allowed me to write a story for the magazine.

Welcome from the southern part of Cali! Must be nice to live up in L.A., bikes are dirt cheap over there! My friend has already snagged an '03 600 CBR for $2500 and then sold it and got a Ducati Monster for $2200. How's riding the bike in traffic so far?

The weather is nice right now. Unfortunately, I don't have a bike right now. I crashed a few weeks ago. However, it's getting repaired so I will be riding again very soon.

I'm sorry to hear that, my bike recently was dropped as well. I too can't wait to get back on the bike again, once my foot peg comes in
