Well i grew up with the 55 pontiac family car called the gray ghost. Havent named the ninja yet, the name 'inscrutable' spoken with a japanese accent sounds like a good first stab at it. The vstrom has never been named. It has been called names that arent fit for mixed company on the occasions it didnt do what i wanted it to. Since it is yellow and black,i have considered calling it the banana, but that hasn't quite stuck yet. Open for suggestions....:-)

Been debating... had her for a couple of months now. I'm thinking Idris - and not the religious figure.

Though if she's Idris, she should probably be blue.

I will only call it by a name once someone else refers to it by that name. If I'm trying to describe it to someone at a bike night/ group ride I'll usually just refer to it as "That pride parade" and people will know I'm talking about my rainbow colored motorcycle.

Since I was a child i've always named every car / motorbike owned by us Thunderbird after the tv show Thunderbirds, and all the boats Stingray after the show by the same name.

I rarely ever refer to my bike as Zenith, btw.

I love the name but there is an issue. You're thinking of the solstice (both longest and shortest days. Summer Solstice long/Winter Solstice Short). The equinox splits the two in march and sept.

For me, I always named my bikes after girls... Just something that felt right, old black kz400 from 1979 was named Valerie.
But my beautiful candy lime green ninja is named Gwen... Just felt like it reflected her personality
