Makes it look like a 250 impersonating a 300 impersonating a ZX-6R. It's not ugly but it's not the hottest chick in school either. The sharp, aggressive lines don't really fit in with the rest of the body work... but maybe it's just me, I'm picky.

^This^ I don't think the sharp lines go very well with the rest of the fairings. Its a good attempt but it just doesn't tickle my fancy.

needs to be painted to truly evaluate. i think it shows promise, I'm not a huge fan of the 250 headlights.

I think it gives it a nice aggressive look. I think I might jump at it, but I'll have to see how much my paint guy will charge me.

I just can't tell how the headlights work. Does it have a glass insert in it that fits over the stock headlight? The translation of the Japanese description leaves much to be desired.

Duc tail + zx6r headlamp + stock 250 side fairings + aftermarket gastank cowl = lolwut250.

Wow, nice! The Ducati rear tail is awesome. . .

Do tank covers in general cover up the entire tank?

For example, if I have a black gas tank, but want the whole bike to be kawi green, can I have everything BUT the tank painted green, slap on a tank cover in kawi green, and no one will be the wiser?

yes, as far as i remember the tank covers in my thread cover up the tank just under the seat and bolt on from the gas cap and tuck in just under/behind the plastic fairings where ur knees are so nobody will know the true color of the real tank D:

OMG

Too bad there is no discernible way to actually, you know, order one of these kits. . . . and I think the weight alone would render the power on our 250 useless. But geez. Gorgeous.

Non-stock bodywork?

Kinda like....

Yeah. Kinda like that. If you think that's cool, go for it.

Prepare to be snickered at, though.

You need the headlights from the Ninja 300 to make it work.

This is awesome! Because the ZX6Rs headlights will fit too. And they're HID! No retrofit kit or anything needed. Projectors already in there.

Well that thread shows it's interchangeable with a 300. . . . I don't think 250 and 300/zx6 are interchangeable, are they?

Yeah and that's the thing. If we can put this zx6r replica cowl on the 250 then we can put the 300/zx6r lights/housing on the replica cowl. Thus on our 250s! WOO!

So basically, if I buy this:

http://www.ebay.com/bhp/kawasaki-zx6r-headlight

and then buy this:

http://japan.webike.net/products/21414096.html

I will have a zx6 lookalike on the front of my 250? No other weird kits/adapters needed? These are the only 2 parts I need to buy?

I would hope so. That's contingent on the replica cowl of which I've seen no one buy.

I hear you.

But man, it all adds up! And with all the farkles and stuff I'm thinking about buying in the next month or two, I might be better off just selling the 250 and buying a 300. . . .
