In the second picture, judging by the bottom of the fairings, this front piece is too big. The bottom of the fairings don't match

Apparently the content of the video was ripped off...this smells like scam. Does anyone have a working link of how to get those fairings, like a website?

Shaun, this may be their blog. It is the only source of a phone number that I have seen. I don't believe it to be a "scam" but would definitely give them a call before placing an order.

Yes, I think you are right. I can now view the link on youtube, as normal, but earlier it said that the video was pulled for some kind of license agreement issue...wierd.

I am really digging on those fairings. I am very interested in modding some of the later series designs to fit a pregen...

Interesting. I actually think it looks better than the 300 because the windscreen is no longer floating, but I still slightly prefer the 2008-2012 style.

I actually REALLY like the upper cowl. I really hope someone does this and makes a thread about it, I may consider it. That thing is SEXY

+1

I was looking into it just the other day and the lack of reviews really sucks.

I hope everyone realizes that it requires a Ninja 300 or ZX 6R headlight. Might as well go with the 6R headlight for projectors!

Well it is only $200 + whatever shipping is, that plus a headlight, I mean if you have like $600 to spend for the light, cowl, and paint then you can turn your ninja into a really sexy beast. (more than it already is)

You should consider it, if you have a macco in the area or decent paint shop, I'm sure you could get it painted for less than $200 as long as the shipping isn't ridiculous then you could have it all together for like $500 painted and all, then it's just a matter of getting the headlights and bam, done.

Nice bike btw, I saw your intro thread.

Want to sell me your slip on? I'm joking. Unless you are serious o_O

Thanks , Your Amy looks awesome as well.
I think it does come in Kawasaki Green so I am hoping that if I do go for it, I won't have to get it done.
As for the slip on, not now. I might just go for the complete exhaust system next year and then sell this one but till then I'm sticking with this one. :P

haha, I figured so. Well, if you decide to pull the trigger on the cowl, you should definitely make a thread.

The 6R comes with projectors and fits the 300 without modification so I assume it will fit this as well. Granted, it probably won't have halos and LED strips. It sounds like sikhids.com requires you to send your headlight in, so the costs add up!

True, hence my decision to wait for a bit. I have to stabilize my finances a bit but after that I might as well go for it.

I wouldn't bother with the Lent kit. It's poorly made, too expensive due to shippings, and not plug and play. On some of the kits they use other parts (frame/exhaust/forks/etc) that was custom made so even if you had the kit it wouldn't fit on a stock 250. Hence why you don't see any videos of it. Too obvious how crap it is if it was in video.

As for the ZX6R upper front cowl, that would fit. Someone order it.

I wonder if it requires new front bracket or use the stock ones? Too lazy to check if these are the stock ones on the 250. ha
This product in addition to genuine Kawasaki parts.

Too bad you got the brasse kit. I'm sure you would have been a perfect guinea pig.

Regardless, some one better do this! Some times I wished we had a community bike that we could all ride and put like x amount of money into it for upgrades, etc. lol, only in a perfect world.

Ha... No ways. I like the Brasse kit better. Besides, I already have the Ducati front cowl + side fairings. Anyone in California wants it, I'll sell for $200.

It doesn't say Ducati. I have it all in white. I HIGHLY suggest to sand it down and repaint though since their paint job sucks big balls.

Interesting. You have piqued my interest, however one of the reasons why I would rather get the front cowl instead of a complete Ducati fairing set would be because I don't want to change it to a Ducati. The cowl gives me an option of making it a bit different from the rest of the 250s but does not turn it to a comeplete 6R look alike because it is compatible with the side fairings of the 250.

I don't know if I explained this properly though, I did sort of confuse myself here. xD

So let me get this straight. You don't want to change the look to a Ducati, but rather a 636? lol... Keeping it in the Kawasaki Ninja family I see.

Personally for me, I don't want to change the look of a 250 to another existing bigger bike. Makes me feel like a poser. I rather give it a new unique look. Hence why I got the Brasse 31BLK kit.

He's selling the front and sides for $200, which is a very good price, that's what you were looking to spend on anyway. Think of the side fairings as bonus.
