PUIG or ZERO-G?

Pro's and Con's to each?

The zero is cheaper... what about fit, construction, etc?

Pics?

Thanks!

I just installed the ZG DB in dark smoke. It fits very well, from what I have read the Puigs have a bit of a gap around the edge. I did not ride on the highway so I am not sure how much less wind buffeting there is but I did notice things seemed quieter than with the stock screen.

I'm not sure what edges you are referring to, but I'm pretty sure I don't have any gaps on mine

This is the cheapest price I've seen for Puig. A few more dollars and you get free shipping too. http://store.dsrpowersports.com/karasc.html
I had the same deliberation going on in my head as you. I was about to buy the Puig (I like the shape more than that of the ZG) when I saw that Shogun also came out with a windscreen for the 250. I haven't seen any pictures of it, but it's about $65 on fatbikez.com. I'm still waiting on pics before I decide now...

Not so much a gap as that the area where the windscreen bevel hits the fairing is not as tight as stock. This is just something I have read several times. I've never actually seen the Puig and my ZG fits as well as the stock screen.

As it has been pointed out before, ZG's are made in the US. Maybe this is a selling point if you decide that both of the windscreens themselves are equal.

Found out that the Shogun screen doesn't fit on our bike. Those fools weren't smart enough to make sure of this. another "ask me how I know" responses

I got the ZG drk smoke db. I ordered it right from the company, it arrived in 2 weeks and was cheaper. The install was done while I was warming my bike up for a ride. It looks great, the product is sturdy and redirects air flow which is what I wanted. My husband owns a Puig and their product is very simular, so availability and brand naming ... your preference.

Get a Puig if you don't mind waiting 2 1/2 MONTHS!! I waited 2 1/2 months, ordered it at the same time I bought my bike and it finally came in today after I gave up and canceled the order on Thursday and got the ZG sport touring in blue instead. It should be here by the end of next week.

nice one. it seems to be the ZG bubble has more a raised bubble which I'm sure helps push wind up even higher over your head than the Puig and even the hotbodies one.

I recently just got a hotbodies double bubble screen b/c I like the looks better, though it probably won't function as well as the ZG one I have right now

^^

no double bubble?

here's mine attached
I actually like it and don't really have any complaints except for that there seems to be a little drop from the front fairing to the actual windscreen.. it shows better on the previous post's picture.

I don't think it works as good as the ZG DB though

does any of the puig or ZG double bubble windscreens, Come with a "Ninja" or "Kawasaki" or "ZXR" - Logo on the windscreen itself? 1 website i looked at to buy a puig DB from, mentions the clear or light smoke Come with a Matched Logo of the model of bike your getting it for. the dark smoke doesnt!
