Hello
I just bought a 250 Ninja SL KRT Edition I just fancied something small and sporty. I'm 53, and have been riding since aged 18. I do have other bikes, and find this sporty little Kawasaki compliments my stable perfectly. Unfortunately, I have to keep it at or below 4,000 rpm for the first 500 miles, which means no faster than 40mph. Oh dear. I'll be holding up buses

Welcome! I wouldn't worry terribly about that 4,000 rpm sticker on the tach. An equivalent sticker is put on all of kawi's bikes, whether they redline at 7k or 16k.
