New Bike / New Rider : Columbia, MD

Hey guys,

New rider here from Columbia, MD area. Just purchased a 2012 Ninja 250. I'm big into DIY's and things of that nature, and I stumbled upon this site and figured I'd better join up.

Had to go with the classic green look. So far the only things i've done was well, one, dropped the bike on the left hand side going .5 MPH. My inexperience was showing. I simply moved the bike going forward from the right hand side and the kick stand must have hit something and gone up without me hearing it. Lo' and behold, I put it down on the kick stand and wham.

Only a few mods so far, got a slip on exhaust from Leo Vince, put a tank protector on there. I plan on getting a fender eliminator, then converting my stock turn signals to flush mounted, then eventually getting a sequential LED brake/turn signals.

Anyways - yeah. I'll be around and poking my head in on a few threads! Thanks guys, and ride safe!

hey man. @Minikin_Jo and i both are located in elkridge and we can definatly ride sometime. check out these threads for group rides:

Wow, that sounds great. I used to live in Elkridge. We should definitely all meet up at some point and go for a ride.

A buddy of mine probably would join, he got a CBR250.

Hi! Welcome! I've been seeing a 2012 ninja on the HCC campus and a couple weekends ago in Elliott city on rt 103...is that you by chance?
