Race 2 at Putnam April 20th 2014

Here is the race footage from race 2. For once my strategy worked in my favor! I had a guy holding a pit board showing my laps. On lap 9 he put "go time" and that was time for me to check out.

Yes, I was playing PAC MAN gobbling ghosts to my victory.

The double draft pass down the straight was BAD ASS!

A lot of lead change was going on while I sat back till it was time to pounce.

Nice Rick! and Lol @ my wheelie start.

One of those crashed bikes was mine, I tucked the front running solo somewhere between the lead pack and midpack. The other rider went down (looked like a tucked front too) in the same area as me a few laps later. She hit pretty hard and think she just had the breath knocked outta her but I don't know for sure.

Both races Sat. and Sun. was super fun.

Sounds like my transponder. It gave up the ghost during the race on sat. Last I checked, that gave me a dnf despite the fact I did in fact finish. I would love to see some footage of the sat race if anyone has it.

The red flag was caused by someone who went to far on the inside stripes. They are really "slick" if you aren't ready for it. I hit them in T2 last year and it pushed my bike off them real quick.

Aodrn, talk to Amy. She will get you your points. Do you know what where you placed? Ernie, who place 1 sat, didn't have his beacon turn on both days. He still placed and got points.

I do have Saturday video which will be uploaded by tomorrow evening.

Looks like amy took care of it already. Im looking forward to the race 1 vid. I think you lapped me towards the end. I saw two guys leading when I looked back through turn 4. Then I kept up for half a turn and waved goodbye

Wow, they let you mount cameras on your helmet for racing? Our club allows cameras, but they have to be on the bike, and they have to be safety wired.

I'll watch the rest of the vid later when I have time. Looks like fun.
