Hello Ninjette
Bought a 2010 Ninja 250R Lime Green...pictures to follow. I'm new to riding. I took the MSF class at the local community college and I truly recommend it. I found this site while dealing with my first issue. I went out last night for a ride when a guy informed me my tail light was out but my brake light was working while I was stopped at a traffic light(thanks dude!) It turns out this is a common thing. Im now researching LEDs.

Turns out most people agree, the LEDs are not bright enough to replace the stock 1157 bulbs
|

check to see that the rear brake light switch located near the brake pedal is adjusted correctly before assuming your bulb is out. |

switched the bulb with a new one and perfect..There is a tiny fracture in one of the filaments in the old bulb.
