Well, it is her bike in spirit I guess. She wanted one, we went out and got her one. Details are in my post introducing myself to the forum. I ride it 99% of the time. But now that I'm enjoying riding, I really want a blue 250. A few here and there for sale. Still shopping.

Looks like for a 2010 they are around $3k. Someone has one with 14,000 miles for over $3500 I think. Good luck there. Then there is a dealer in Austin with a 2010 blue but he wants $3899. Did get him down to $3699. No thanks. For a few dollars more I can get a new, but non blue. Looking at one this evening. He has title issues. Said he just recently got it transferred into his name and is awaiting it being mailed to him. Time to draw up some legally binding documents I guess.

As for painting hers pink, she's seen a few that have been done, but she really likes the green. She thinks with her jacket and helmet, that would be a pink explosion. But she does turn heads when she's riding it now. Hopefully soon we'll be out and about together..now to find a babysitter for the youngins at home.

WOW - I bought my wife's 2011 with 2,000 miles for $3,000 from a private seller. Keep looking around and you'll find killer deals with the 300 rolling out.

@NevadaWolf Its a leg bag that I bought off Ebay for about $25 or so. It is very handy.

@Jiggles Definitely not as gay. Plus it may help boost ego. A store clerk asked me if I was a cop because it looked like I had a gun. I almost felt badass.

@NevadaWolf Yeah, I got it because my jacket always looked bulky and never enough pockets so I no longer wear a backpack unless I have to carry something larger or bring my pup.
