I say go for it!
As aforementioned by you, it would be a nice way to have a 600cc without paying 600cc insurance..plus who doesn't wanna rip on a track!

Congrats on the bike man. I have just gone through a rough long term live in gf breakup. First I didn't handle it very well.... Then I got on the retail therapy... I didn't get a new bike but I get parts .

Parts and gear are just as good if you already have a bike lol

I spent a couple hours on a friends 300 . All white this last week. Def tempted to pickup a 300. But I have to clean up my mangled bikes I have first.

Thanks! Sorry to hear about that..sounds a lot like my situation. I have always enjoyed riding bikes on and off but now it turning into more of a passion..Even with all the idiot cagers on the roads. BE SAFE EVERYONE!!...had a few close calls recently and it makes me double think about riding daily on the roads

Hey , If you ride with teh mindset that every other driver intends to kill you when you least expect it you will get along just fine lol.

Ridding has really gotten my mind off of the heavy **** from my break up.

clears the mind and builds focus. Helps you set new life goals and find who you are.....

HELPs you pickup new chicks with better attitudes lol.

Motorcycles are the cure for many of lifes problems

Thats how I have been riding..the big one I had the other day I knew something was coming..A blue hair tried to mow me down..I felt bad giving him the finger after about 10 seconds of my horn. But he shouldn't even be on the roads

One major concern when watching the videos, (by the way, glad your gettin out and having fun) BUT do your jacket sleeves not have any velcro to secure around your wrist?

If you ever fall and the arms are free-for-all like that, you're gonna have some pretty nice skin grafts...eek.

EDIT: I hope you never do go down on the bike BUT better safe than sorry, ya know?

Took what you said and decided to order some gauntlet gloves, Thanks for talking me into buying new gear haha

Probably still wont use them on the really hot days but we don't get a lot of those in Michigan anyways.

Gear is necessary if you value your skin and life. It's easy to become addicted, unless your squidward

Very true, I am not complaining and respect everyones opinion. I did join this website to talk bikes and riding not have people lecture me on gear. I am not a noob and understand risks and consequences. I can talk to my mom and my sisters if I want people to tell me how dangerous it is.

Time to let this thread die..

Skin is probably the most painful organ to try and grow back/graft. wear your gear unless you want to become visually aquainted with your muscle fibers.

We only push gear because we care about your adventures, and dont want you to miss them due to preventable injures.

Also i want this thread to keep going as shows the correct course of actions after breaking up with crazy...

Probably should be stickied, lol.

The 300 is my first new bike. I did ride dirt bikes and enduros growing up. Then rode a 83 honda v45 magna(750) that my dad bought new the year I was born, now it just collects dust

LOL!

You know what you should do?

Step 1: Get a mic that can do voice effects.
Step 2: Talk to dudes with your regular voice and accept one of the inevitable requests
Step 3: invite said creeper to an SnD.
Step 4: change your voice to sound like a dude!

repeat until bored...

sorry i just have to comment on that screen name...
@"xoxo JUGGS".... much wow. such classy. many claps to you such juggs, and many claps to your username. if only you had chosen the fly "Mc"Juggs, the trifecta would have been complete. i think if you get all 3 it's actually an XB achievement.

Often times when I ride by myself I will talk out loud to myself... sounds crazy, but I pretend I am doing some commentary or something.. I find it nice to work out my feelings/thoughts/problems while riding. I sometimes use hand gestures and I'm sure people think I'm nuts hahaha.

Riding a bike is a good way to cleanse some of your problems.

Sing in the car? Please, I sing on my bike, at traffic signals, regardless of convertibles, other motorbikes, and rolled-down windows. Yeah people stare, but who cares.
